Ahead of the 2027 general elections in Nigeria a female cleric based at Umuoji in Anambra State Chief Apostle Fidel Chimezie who is the Regional Vice President Nigeria Ministers Project (NIMPRO) Southeast Region has called on Church leaders all over the country to use their Churches to do spiritual work on the wellbeing of the country by enacting strategic national prayer for security of lives and property and peaceful conduct of the elections.
Chief Apostle Chimezie who made the call during a special prayer section for Nigeria organized by NIMPRO with Divine Solution Daughters in Umuoji emphasized on the need for Church leaders all over the country to set up a national prayer team in their Churches respectively to be saddled with the task of praying for the country.
The Prayer with the theme, “Destroying Old Foundations and Building New Ones,” held at the NIMPRO Global Centre, Umuoji, had the presence of men of God which include Apostle Tony Philips of the Glorious Divine Grace Assembly; Prophet AJB Okadigbo of the Light of the World Adoration Ministry; Bro. Richard MyGod of the Arc of Comfort Church International; Rev. Anozie Joseph of the Jesus for All Mission, among many others.

Speaking on the essence of the prayer Chief Apostle Fidel Chimezie said that God showed her a vision of a new Nigeria, and a pattern to dislodge principalities and negative altars holding the country down.
She said, “When God called me, He said He has chosen me for a new Nigeria. He called the work a project. It is not a ministry; it is not a church. It is a project. My primary assignment is to gather ministers, principally apostles and prophets, to intercede and pray for a new Nigeria, and to do all manner of works that will enable a new Nigeria to manifest.
“I was called in the order of apostolic work, principally the Chief Apostolic work. What this means is that whatever sacrifice, altar or foundation that the enemy uses blood to do against God’s people or against the nation, God has empowered me to destroy them. God assured me that He can take me in the spirit to destroy whatsoever that is working against His people, and show the way out.”
She said that major problem facing Nigeria is existence of negative altars and foundations; adding that God is always giving her the highest hirachy of altars based on the blood of Jesus Christ and the word of God, to bring to bear the power to deliver His people.
The cleric also spoke about negative altars holding Nigeria down, and what God proferred to her as solutions.
