The Association of Nigerian Authors, Abuja Chapter,has named Hajia Hafsat Abdulwaheed as its guest author for the month of November.

Hajia Hafsat Abdulwaheed is an exceptional Nigerian writer, poet, and women’s rights activist, who has made remarkable contributions to literature and social change in her career.

“Hajia Hafsat holds a significant position in the literary world as the first female Hausa writer from Northern Nigeria to have penned a published novel. Through her writing, she has given voice to the often-underrepresented experiences and aspirations of Hausa women, shedding light on the diverse cultural heritage of Northern Nigeria.
