The newly installed State Chairman of APC in Anambra Chief Ifeanyi Osegbo who made the vow while delivering his inaugural address on assumption of office at the party’s secretariat in Awka told the party faithful to get ready for the 2027 polls because according to him his administration is poised to work hard to ensure that APC candidates trounce other candidates with President Tinubu securing good result in the State

Reeling out his plans for the party, the new Chairman promised to operate with an open door policy in ensuring that all the leaders, stakeholders and members of the party at all levels are duly carried along adding that the door of the party is wide open for everybody willing to come and join the party particularly some aggrieved members who were hitherto not happy with the situation of things in the party to come back to the fold.

The chairman as measure to match words with action towards actualizing his set target quickly announced the setting up of three committees which include: peace and reconciliation committee, strategy and tactical committees and lastly committee for election plan and winning adding that the committees will swing into action immediately to champion peace and reconciliation and ensure that President Tinubu and all APC candidates achieve good results in 2027 in Anambra State.

He repeatedly pleaded with the party faithful to give him and his executive a maximum support maintaining that, his administration is much poised to carry everybody along. Others speakers who congratulated the new chairman and his executive noted that the party faithful are excited with the coming of Chief Osegbo as the State Chairman of the party promising to rally maximum support for the new administration.

Buttressing the purpose of the meeting, the new State publicity secretary of the party Hon Tony Uche Ezekwelu who moderated the meeting described the emergence of Osegbo as a new dawn designed to move Anambra APC to greater heights. “We are happy that we now have a brand new State Chairman who is well exposed, well experienced and competent enough to lead us to the promised land and all we are saying is that let everybody in APC Anambra State queue behind him”

Also speaking, Hon Arinze Awogu who is the Federal House of Rep candidate of APC for Federal Ogbaru Federal Constituency charged the party faithful at all levels to join forces with the new administration to reposition the party as a force to reckon with in Anambra State like never before noting that the desired quality State leadership needed to drive the party to greater height is now on board.

Hon Awogu expressed optimism that the positive impact of the new leadership of APC in Anambra will manifest in Ogbaru with his emergence as winner of Federal House of Representatives election in Ogbaru Federal Constituency adding that Ogbaru chapter of APC has what it takes to coast home to victory with his candidacy at the polls in 2027.
