“Every move was carefully calculated to achieve maximum result ,better days are coming .

“I always tell our people whenever the occasion arises that we must continue to have renewed hope.

“Unbehalf of the Senate ,I want to congratulate you ,you are a square peg in a square hole ;we are celebrating your excellence and humility .

“We know that you are going to leave your mark in the present administration of Bola Tinubu,we pray that God will guide you and it will be well with you because when it is well with you it will be well with Nigeria. ”

The Seaker of the House of Representatives, Tajudeen Abbas, described Akume as a kind man who would translate that into moving the nation forward.

“I find in Akume something I rarely find in politicians which is kindness and he will bring it to play on the job.

“I want to assure you of our support at the House of Representatives and we will ensure that all policies of the government and bills will scale through in the house .”

The All Progressives Congress (APC) Party Chairman ,Abdullahi Adamu said the president made the right choice of SGF and he would succeed .
