The President of Ohaneze Ndigbo in the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Nze (Barr) Ifeanyichukwu Obasi-Nweze, has issued a Democracy Day message to the Igbo community in the FCT, emphasizing the importance of unity and congratulating FCT Minister Nyesom Wike on his achievements.
Chief Obasi-Nweze stressed that unity is crucial for the Igbo people to harness their collective strength and achieve their goals. He urged Ndigbo in the FCT to unite and learn to forgive each other, calling on those causing disunity to stop.
Speaking on democracy and leadership, he reflected on the nature of democracy, noting that its outcome often depends on the collective will of the people. He also emphasized the importance of peace and love in promoting progress.
While commending Wike’s achievements, the Ohaneze Ndigbo FCT President congratulated Minister Wike on his landmark achievements and urged him to be more people-oriented in implementing projects. He suggested that Wike’s “large heart” should include developing areas for low-income earners.
Barr (Nze) Obasi-Nweze’s message serves as a call to action for the Igbo community in the FCT to put aside their differences and work towards a common goal. By embracing unity and promoting peace, Ndigbo can unlock their collective potential and achieve greater success.
