Education ministry celebrates appointment of Walson-Jack as HOS

The Federal Ministry of Education, with immense pride and joy has congratulated its Permanent Secretary, Mrs Didi Walson-Jack, on her recent appointment as the Head of the Civil Service of the Federation.

The Minister of Education, Prof. Tahir Mamman has said that the esteemed promotion was a testament to her unwavering dedication, exemplary work ethic,and exceptional service throughout her illustrious career.

Reflecting on her achievements, Mamman, stated, “Since her appointment as Federal Permanent Secretary in the Federal Ministry of Education on January 15, 2024, Mrs Walson-Jack has consistently demonstrated remarkable leadership and unwavering commitment to her duties.

” Her contributions have significantly advanced our nation’s public service, and there is no doubt that she will bring the same innovative flair, integrity, and adherence to excellence in her new role.

“I extend my heartfelt congratulations to Mrs Walson-Jack on this well-deserved appointment. Her visionary approach and extensive experience are invaluable assets to the Civil Service of the Federation.

“I am confident that her leadership will inspire and guide the workforce towards greater efficiency and productivity,” Mamman said.

According to Mamman, as Walson-Jack steps into this critical position on August 14, 2024, succeeding Dr Folasade Yemi-Esan, the entire directorate and staff of the Ministry of Education join in celebrating her remarkable achievement.

He said that her leadership is expected to drive transformative changes, fostering a culture of excellence and innovation within the Civil Service.

“We recognise Walson-Jack’s significant contributions to the Ministry of Education and the broader public service. Her exemplary service sets a high standard for all, and her promotion serves as an inspiration to many.

” We are confident that she will excel in her new role,continuing to champion initiatives that promote growth and efficiency.
