Founder of Lilian Ike Foundation bags Doctor of Philosophy in Humanities

Founder of the Lilian Ike Foundation, Amb Chinwe Lilian has been awarded a Doctor of Philosophy in Humanities at Prowess University Deleware in USA.

This prestigious honour acknowledges Amb Chinwe Lilian’s profound impact in fostering education, women empowerment, leadership, and social development through innovative programs and initiatives.

Over the years, Amb Chinwe has spearheaded initiatives such as the Visionary African Women Summit and the Lilian Ike Foundation Education Summit now transitioning to Global Visionary Leadership Summit which have empowered countless individuals through education, mentorship, and advocacy.

On innovative programs, she explained in a press statement that they have a strong history of impactful programs for youth and girls, rooted in empowerment, leadership, and advocacy

“A few weeks ago, we organised the 5th edition of our leadership/education summit for youths emphasizing capacity building and mentorship.

“We also organise a mentorship advocacy programme through the Visionary African Women community where we focus on confidence building, safety, and future planning,” she said.

Reacting to the honour, Amb Chinwe Lilian expressed gratitude and a renewed commitment to expanding the reach of her humanitarian endeavours.

She said this recognition is not just a testament to my efforts but a call to do even more. “dedicate this award to all the women, children, and communities we have impacted through our work”.

As a celebrated women’s advocate and visionary leader, Amb Chinwe has consistently championed the importance of women empowerment, leadership, education and personal development.
