Hardship: Ex House Leader, Doguwa Doles Out N100M, Food Items To Constituents

Former House Leader, Alhassan Ado Doguwa during the weekend distributed N100 Million cash to constituents in the spirit of Ramadan to cushions the effects of hardship.

A signed statement by Doguwa that was made available to newsmen in Kano said the steps taken was done to complement the Federal Government efforts at addressing hunger and starvation in the land

Alhassan Doguwa said “I’m distributing a total sum of 100 Million Naira in cash to party faithfuls and other members of the public, as my small contribution to complement Federal Government effort at tackling poverty in the land”.

He revealed in the statement that other items distributed includes 2. 2000 bags of rice in 25bgs, 300bags of millets, 200 units of water pumping machines to amplify irrigation farming and100 Depp- Freezers to help women in small businesses.

Doguwa disclosed that “Other items, I gave out includes 1000 bags of cement, 500 bundles of roofing zinc, all aimed at alleviating the suffering of the people of my constituency.”

Doguwa assured that “We will continue to do that periodically to support and complement the efforts of the Federal and state Government to improve the living conditions of our vulnerable populace”.

He said already the impact of the distribution could visibly be seen on the faces of the beneficiaries, as most of them promised to uses the largesse to re-kickstart their businesses.
