Osunkwor family expresses gratitude for support at son’s burial

The Osunkwor Family of UmudeChukwu, Akwuoba Village, Ogbunka, has expressed heartfelt appreciation to everyone[contact-form who stood by them during the burial ceremonies of their beloved brother, late Barrister Emmanuel Echendu Osunkwor.

In a statement signed by Charlie Moore Osunkwor, over the week, the family thanked those who identified with them before, during, and after the burial, which took place on February 19th and 20th, 2026, at Akwuoba Ogbunka, Orumba South LGA, Anambra State. The family acknowledged the massive turnout and overwhelming crowd, saying it brought them joy, comfort, and strength in their moment of grief.

“We sincerely appreciate everyone who came to show their solidarity and love during this difficult time,” the statement read. “May God Almighty continue to bless you all abundantly and reward you accordingly.”

The late Barrister Osunkwor was described as an illustrious son of Ogbunka and one of the pioneer lawyers in the ancient community. The family thanked everyone again for their physical presence and support, saying they cannot thank them enough.

The burial ceremonies were a testament to the impact of the late Barrister Osunkwor on his community, and the family is grateful for the outpouring of love and support.
