The indigenously people of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) have charged youths and well meaning Nigerians residing the city to vote en mass  for one of their own, Senator Philip Aduda saying a vote for none indigene to occupy the senatorial seat to represent their people in the National Assembly amounts to marginalisation.
Comrade Martins Malaki, the President,  Indigenous People of FCT (IPF) told our Correspondent in a chat that currently politicians whose brothers are serving as lawmakers in Adamawa and Yobe States assembly are contesting against the indigenes for the National Assembly seats.
Malaki lamented that the indigenous people of the FCT only have Senatorial and House of Representatives seats which they occupy, but those seats are being threatened by desperate politicians, urging Nigerians to resist such injustice and vote for Aduda and other indigenous people of the city for equity and fairness.
“As people always say FCT is no man’s land, forgetting that before it becomes FCT people were residing there as there village and town.
“The question is “what has the Federal Government provided for the indigenes apart from the two political seats – Senatorial and House of Representatives. Now APC wants to hijack the political positions from us.
“How can a flag bearer whose brother presently is serving as PDP House Representative in Adamawa, Yobe state come here to contest  with intention of hijacking  what belong  to us the indigenes. Is it because of the indigene’s hospitality life style?
“We the indigene are calling on the youths and the well meaning Nigerians to arise to the challenge.
“What we the indigenes of FCT are passing through  is more than what the Niger  Delta people are going through from the hands of federal government.
“We the elder statesmen of the city are calling on the our youths to open their eyes and vote in favour of Senator Philip Aduda  and eight House of Reps members of PDP as APC refused to give  the indigenous people the ticket for the House of Rep.
“Imagine, Minister of State and other important positions are given to none indigenes. Only senatorial and House of Reps were zoned to us now APC none indigenes want to  hijack same from us and you think we will fold our hands and allow it happen. No one will take advantage of our kindness or peace abiding life style and mess us up” he said.
