Also, 50 food baskets will be given to vulnerable persons in camps and host communities identified by the non governmental organisation in Maiduguri, Borno State.

The food items will be distributed directly to the beneficiaries by staff of NEMA and SEMA of Kano, Jigawa and Katsina states. However, the distribution in Borno State would be done by a local non-governmental organization, Taibah Educational Foundation and supervised by NEMA staff, the statement noted.

It would be recalled that the King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Centre has previously donated food baskets, which were successfully distributed by NEMA in Zamfara, Borno, Yobe and Kano States.
