The Tinubu Media Volunteers (TMV) has acknowledged the victory secured by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu at the just-ended All Progressives Congress (APC) presidential primaries as well-deserved.

In a statement signed by its Chairman Chukwudi Enekwechi and Secretary Segun Ogedengbe, TMV noted that the extensive economic reforms he initiated since assuming office on May 29 2023 are necessary in spite of the temporary pains.

It said: We believe that despite the hardship associated with the reforms of the Tinubu administration, the long-term benefits are foreseeable, and will ultimately work for all Nigerians.
“While it is true that the generality of Nigerians are going through pains due to the removal of fuel subsidy and the harmonisation of the forex window, we believe that the reforms are necessary to restore the country to the path of growth and development.

“We are also confident that President Tinubu’s emergence as Presidential candidate at the primary election will cement his achievements in infrastructure such as roads, power, stabilization in the exchange rates, the student loan fund, CREDICORP, increased monthly allocations to the states, expansion and development of agriculture and food production thereby enhancing food security, massive infrastructural development in the Federal Capital Territory during his second term.

“We are glad that the President also acknowledged in his ‘’Thank you all’’ advertorial that though the journey has been challenging, the future remains promising.

“We are gratified that the president remains focused on delivering on the Renewed Hope Agenda which if religiously implemented has the potential to transform the country remarkably.”

It also appealed to Nigerians to continue to render the Tinubu administration the necessary support ahead of the 2027 elections.
