…Targets 3, 000 entrepreneurs distributors, retail agents

By Toby Chuks

Nigeria’s pioneering Mobile Virtual Network Operator (MVNO), Vitel Wireless Network Ltd., has announced the expansion of its nationwide Partner Programme, aimed at onboarding 3,000 new entrepreneurs, distributors, and retail agents.

In a statement yesterday signed by its Chief Operating Officer, Chudi Nwabueze, the company explained that the initiative is part of its broader mission to democratize access to telecom services and create sustainable income opportunities across the country.

Nwabueze explained that Vitel Wireless is now inviting forward-thinking individuals, business owners, POS agents, and kiosk operators to join its fast-growing partner ecosystem.

According to him “This is more than a telecom business; it’s a chance for everyday Nigerians to own a stake in the future of mobile connectivity. With our competitive commission structure, seamless onboarding process, and extensive retail reach, partners can build profitable ventures while driving innovation and connectivity nationwide”

He stated that the partner programme was sequel to the successful rollout of the company’s first phase marked by the distribution of Vitel SIM cards in all 36 states through a strategic alliance with SLOT noting that the Partner Programme involves start your own telecom business with minimal investment and full operational support; sell Vitel SIMs, airtime and data using the firm’s digital platform; earn lifetime commissions of up to three per cent on every airtime and data transaction and nationwide reach through Vitel’s established retail network powered by SLOT.

“This initiative marks a bold step in Nigeria’s transition to Telecom 2.0, empowering local entrepreneurs to participate in one of the country’s fastest-growing sectors. Vitel Wireless is now accepting applications from prospective partners at an affordable entry cost. Whether you’re a distributor, agent, or kiosk operator, this is your opportunity to join a transformative movement in Nigeria’s telecom landscape,” Nwabueze added.
