He said the clean sweep of all 27 Local Government Areas of the state at the concluded governorship election is a testimony that the APC is accepted in the geopolitical zone.

The APC national Chairman said the party is going take advantage of the second term bid of Governor Hope Uzodinma to consolidate its acceptance and the credibility of its governance structures for people of the region to key in.

“We are going to take full advantage of the victory we have in Imo State for our governor going for a second term
We won the election in all the 27 Local government areas, we won with over half a million votes. Ebonyi and Imo are APC but we are eyeing the three other States. We are going to use Imo State as a launch pad to win the zone to APC”.he adding that APC is determined to bring States like Enugu into it’s fold.

The APC National Chairman also disclosed of plan by the party to launch electronic registration of its members from ward , LGA and state levels so as to truly identify its members and open ways for others to join.

He declined request made by the Minister to bar Enugu State indigenes he call “APC in Abuja but PDP in Enugu” from participating in sharing in the hardwork of APC during the 2023 election.

Instead Ganduje harped on the unity of the party for which a reconciliation committee has been set to reconcile members in all the State.
According to the APC leader, the party is aware that challenges exist in some of the states adding that the way forward is to work together for a united party that will attract people on the outside.
