The Honourable Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, HE Nyesom Wike, is the most performing minister of the FCT since its inception, according to Barr Alex Edim, Chairman of the Nigerian Bar Association (NBA) Nyanya-Karu branch. Edim made the statement while speaking on the developments in his jurisdiction, including the Karu township road project, expansion of the Nyanya-Karshi dual carriage way, and massive water project in Jikwoyi.

Edim praised Wike’s attention to his jurisdiction, saying the area has transformed from a satellite town to a rapidly. He expressed support for Wike, stating that the NBA branch under his leadership will give him the needed support to succeed and will not hesitate to criticize his actions or policies where they are anti-people friendly.

In a separate statement, Edim advised Governor Bassey Edet Otu of Cross River State to hold Distinguished Senator Jarigbe Agom Jarigbe closely to his heart if he wants to win Cross River North Senatorial district without stress. Edim described Jarigbe as a grassroots politician liked by all in the zone, and urged the Governor to leverage on his popularity.

Edim emphasized his commitment to good governance, stating that as NBA chairman, he is an apostle of good governance and will speak out on issues affecting the public. His comments come as a boost to Wike’s administration, which has been focused on delivering infrastructure and improving the lives of FCT residents.

Wike’s efforts have been recognized by residents, who praise his commitment to development. The NBA chairman’s statement is expected to further boost the Minister’s efforts to transform the FCT.
