Children’s Day Celebration: Mayor of Orumba North Fetes children, tasks them on education

The Mayor of Orumba South, Anambra State, Barr Casmir Chukwunonso Nwafor, emphasized the value of education, and urged children to take their studies seriously and be committed to learning.

This was contained in his 2025 Children’s Day on Tuesday, while extending warm wishes to children in the local government area. Celebrating the the children he called the bright star of the community, Mayor Nwafor described them as the future leaders of the state and the nation.

He however stressed the importance of good behavior, kindness, respect, and helpfulness towards one another, creating a positive environment where everyone can thrive.

“Every great achievement starts with a commitment to learning. Let’s make Orumba North a place where children shine brightly and inspire others,” he appealed, just as the Mayor encouraged children to be the best version of themselves, explore new ideas, and never stop being curious. He expressed his belief in each child and called for collective efforts to build a brighter future for the community.
