The Commerce and Industry Correspondents Association of Nigeria (CICAN) has congratulated the Chief of Staff to the Lagos State Governor, Chief Tayo Akinmade Ayinde, on his 62nd birthday.
In a congratulatory letter dated August 24, 2026, signed by the National Chairman of CICAN, Taiwo Ademola Hassan, and the Secretary General, Olufemi Orioye, the Board and Executive Council of CICAN described Ayinde as a dependable public servant and an important pillar of the Lagos State administration.
The association commended his years of dedicated service to Lagos State, particularly his contributions to the administration of Governor Babajide Olusola Sanwo-Olu.
CICAN noted that Ayinde’s commitment, loyalty, administrative experience, and dedication to public service had distinguished him as a key figure in the state’s governance structure.
According to the association, as Chief of Staff, Ayinde has played a significant role in coordinating government activities, strengthening relationships between the executive and various stakeholders, and supporting policies and programmes targeted at promoting economic growth, good governance and development across Lagos State.
The association, which comprises more than 100 journalists across the print, broadcast, and online media, also appreciated Ayinde’s openness and support for the media.
CICAN said his contributions had helped create an enabling environment for stakeholders in the business and industrial sectors, noting that the association remained committed to promoting commerce, industry, and economic development through responsible journalism.
The association prayed that God would grant Ayinde continued good health, wisdom, strength, and renewed grace to serve humanity and contribute to the development of Lagos State and Nigeria.
The association wished the Lagos State Chief of Staff greater accomplishments, fulfilment, and prosperity in the years ahead.
