Corps Marshal Shehu Mohammed Inaugurates State-of-the-Art FRSC Office Facilities

The Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) has inaugurated upgraded office facilities, marking a significant step in enhancing road safety through technology and infrastructure.

Corps Marshal Shehu Mohammed hosted Senator Diket Plang and Dr. Muheeba Dankaka for the ceremony, and declared that the  new facilities will serve as a hub for digital transformation, enabling the FRSC to streamline processes, improve data management, and enhance staff capacity for better decision-making.

In a statement, Olusegun Ogungbemide,

Assistant Corps Marshal, Corps Public Education Officer, said the move is praised as a milestone, showcasing the Corps Marshal’s leadership in embracing innovation to drive progress in road safety.

The facilities are expected to contribute to a safer motoring environment in Nigeria.

The statement reads in part: “The Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) has taken a giant leap forward in its quest for excellence, as the Corps Marshal, Shehu Mohammed hosts the Vice Chairman Senate Committee on Federal Character and Intergovernmental Affairs, Distinguished Senator Diket Plang and the Executive Chairman, Federal Character Commission, Dr Muheeba Dankaka to inaugurate upgraded office facilities that will redefine the future of road safety and enhance digitization of the processes of the Corps.

“This bold move is a proof of Corps Marshal Shehu Mohammed’s relentless effort towards harnessing the power of technology and infrastructure to drive innovation and progress in the FRSC. The upgraded facilities will serve as a hub for digital transformation, enabling the FRSC to deliver world-class services to the Nigerian people.

“The commissioned facilities are a game-changer for the FRSC, providing a cutting-edge platform for the Corps to tackle the challenges of road safety in contemporary times. With these upgraded facilities, the FRSC will be better equipped to enhance digital capabilities,  leverage technology to streamline processes, improve data management, enhance capacity development of staff for enhanced decision-making”.
