The association’s president, Chief Arinze Anadu (Nwachinemelu), speaking to journalists on behalf of ASTPA over the week, hailed DIG Okolo’s achievement, describing it as a milestone in his life ¹.

Chief Anadu noted that DIG Okolo’s initiation into the Agbalanze Society is a testament to his hard work and dedication to his country, evident in his rise to the rank of DIGP. “If you haven’t been doing well, you wouldn’t have reached the rank you have reached,” he said, adding that the society’s recognition of DIG Okolo’s achievements is well-deserved .

The Agbalanze Society is a revered traditional society in Anambra State, known for promoting cultural values and recognizing individuals who have made significant contributions to their communities. DIG Okolo’s initiation into the society marks a significant milestone in his life and career, and ASTPA’s congratulations underscore the importance of cultural heritage and traditional recognition in Igbo society.

The Anambra State Towns People Association (ASTPA) is a non-profit organization that aims to promote the welfare and interests of Anambra State indigenes living in Abuja and its environs. The association engages in various activities, including cultural events, charity work, and community development projects, to foster unity and cultural values among its members.

As president of ASTPA’s Abuja chapter, Chief Arinze Anadu has been instrumental in promoting the association’s objectives and values. Under his leadership, ASTPA has continued to play a vital role in promoting cultural heritage and community development among Anambra State indigenes in Abuja.
