Secretary of the FCT FA Haruna Ilerika said Yum Yum is an Abuja based Football Academy and it’s a bonafide affiliate of the Football Association.

” I am surprised that people are asking question about Yum Yum FC because they are our affiliate and are one of the Academies who are even up to date with their fees and responsibilities”.

” I can understand that they are not one of the old Academies around but the Management of the Academy has a very good structure from what they have shown us”, he said.

“I can tell you for free that they are one of the Academies that are very focus on catching young talents from the streets and giving them a chance”.

“I am not even surprise that the Captain of the Nigeria Flying Eagles team Daniel Bameyi is doing well in Argentina because he is one of the guys I predicted will go far from the players I have seen at the Academy”.

“I think from now many will start hearing more of Yum Yum FC because they still have some hidden young talents that have the potential to become the next Victor Osimhen in the future”,

“One thing about the Academy that really impressed us at the FA aside their organised structure is their financial support for talents on the street”.

“They give alot of Financial incentives to footballers from the street and we have attended several of their programs like that which for us is very commendable”, he stressed.

The impressive performance of Daniel BAMEYI at the ongoing FIFA U20 World Cup has seen him become a target for Europeans clubs and many who don’t know much about the player are asking question about the profile of his club ,YUM YUM FC of Abuja.
