FG Mourns Spanish Flood Victims, Commiserates With Govt

The federal government has expressed grief over the death of no fewer than 158 persons in a devastating flash floods that struck eastern Spain.

A statement by Spokesperson
Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Amb. Eche Abu-Obe, also commiserated with the government and people of the Kingdom of Spain over the tragic incident.

The statement reads: “The Federal Republic of Nigeria is dismayed at the news of devastating flash floods that struck eastern Spain, on Tuesday, 29th October, 2024, claiming 158 lives and several others missing.

“Nigeria stands with Spain at this tragic moment and therefore conveys its deepest condolences to the people of the Kingdom of Spain, while praying for the families of the victims”.
