Corps Marshal Shehu Mohammed of the Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) has praised officers for their “outstanding and historic” performance during intense Christmas travel operations, highlighting their role in easing major gridlocks across Nigeria.

According to a statement signed by Assistant Corps Marshal Olusegun Ogungbemide, Corps Public Education Officer, the commendation was contained in an address to staff, where Mohammed lauded the personnel’s resilience, professionalism, and courage amid high vehicular volumes, extended shifts, harsh weather, and notorious bottlenecks like the Lokoja axis.
