Chief Makama also congratulated HRH Idris Musa, the Chief of Jiwa Chiefdom on his elevation from a third-class Chief to a second-class one by FCT Minister Nyesom Wike, praising the monarch’s performance and the recognition of his efforts. He described the elevation as well-deserved, noting that Jiwa Chiefdom is an old and respected entity.

The Idu village head emphasized the importance of peace, love, and harmony, stating that Islam means peace and that Muslims should strive to promote these values. He commended residents of Idu for their peaceful cohabitation and urged them to continue fostering unity and understanding among people of different religious faiths.

Chief Makama noted that the coincidence of Christians and Muslims fasting is a sign that God is one and wants interfaith harmony. He urged citizens to support the government in power, while also appealing to those in government to prioritize the welfare and interests of citizens.

The traditional ruler stressed the need for understanding and tolerance among people of different faiths, emphasizing that these values are essential for peaceful coexistence. He prayed for the good of all, wishing Muslims a joyous and blessed Eid el Fitr celebration.

Chief Makama’s message was a call to action, urging citizens to work towards promoting peace, unity, and harmony in their communities. He emphasized that the Eid el Fitr celebration is an opportunity to reflect on the values of compassion, forgiveness, and generosity.

The elevation of HRH Idris Musa is seen as a recognition of the importance of traditional institutions in promoting peace and development in communities. Chief Makama’s congratulations to the Jiwa monarch reflect the significance of this elevation.

As Nigerians celebrate Eid el Fitr, Chief Makama’s message of peace, love, and unity is a timely reminder of the importance of these values in building a harmonious and prosperous society.
