“Information Technology Skills. With the increasing digitalisation of industries, there is a growing demand for IT skills.

“Teaching coding, software development, data analysis, and digital marketing can help Nigerian youths acquire skills that are highly sought after in the job market,” he said.

Jones-Esan also proposed entrepreneurship skills that would encourage entrepreneurship and providing training in business management, financial literacy, and marketing.

He said this would also empower Nigerian youths to start their own businesses and create employment opportunities for themselves and others.

Other policies he proposed are Agricultural Skills, Communication and Soft Skills.

However, he said that to reduce unemployment among youths, there was need to enhance Technical and Vocational Education to increase investment in technical and vocational education.

He said this would provide practical skills training and create a skilled workforce that meets the demands of industries.

He also tasked the president to implement policies that support and encourage entrepreneurship, such as providing access to finance, mentorship programs, and simplified business registration processes.

Other policies he suggested are improving access to quality education, strengthen Public-Private Partnerships, invest in infrastructure and technology, among others .

He noted that by implementing these policies, President Tinubu could help reduce unemployment among Nigerian youths and create a more skilled and employable workforce.
