MARAN rallies stakeholders for dialogue on trade facilitation in Nigeria’s economy

The foremost maritime association in Nigeria, the Maritime Reporters Association of Nigeria, (MARAN), has formally invited stakeholders to the July edition of its Breakfast Meeting.
The Breakfast meeting is scheduled to hold on July 24, 2024:  at the Rockview Hotel, Apapa Lagos.

A statement signed by MARAN president, Mr  Godfrey Bibvere, said the theme of the breakfast meeting: Trade Facilitation and President Tinubu’s Economic Agenda: Matters Arising; became germane and it is also intended to educate the public on contributions of trade to the development of the nation’s economy.

The Breakfast meeting is expected to be attended by the Comptroller General of Nigeria Customs Service, Adewale Adeniyi, other chief executives of government agencies and critical stakeholders in the industry to brainstorm on Trade Facilitation with a view to proffering solutions to the challenges.

Other dignitaries expected at the Breakfast meeting include ship owners, freight forwarders, the President General of the Maritime workers Union of Nigeria ( MWUN), Adewale Adeyanju and other stakeholders in the marine and Blue “
