Former member of House of Representatives, Hon Bimbo Daramola (alias congressman) has advocated a strong system that would guarantee safety of Nigerian young stars and protect them from going down untimely.
Daramola, while paying tributes to the late singer ,MOHBAD said “the death of any human being diminishes me .When it’s a young person, particularly when orchestrated or by devious machination it dims humanity.
He,therefore called for thorough investigations into the circumstances leading to the untimely death of the Ekiti born singer.
“So many sides to the death of this young man, but one thing that nobody can deny is the fact that the guy had died a long time ago, twas just his physical body just marking time here.
“Unfortunately he bottled up. Guess he did not have anyone to confide in … that’s why the jigsaw puzzle trails his death.. its indeed heartbreaking .
“To now see him and his music topping charts and gathering huge mention at his death makes it most painful with a young family , wife and child left to live with the trauma of a boy cut short at the edge of his explosion, coming from the background of a carpenter and to discover his talent and then death .. Painful indeed.
The task left is surely to find the killers and get justice , but most importantly to ensure that no star drops at midday again and that the sun never sets at noon for any young person again.
The ex parliamentarian,a strong promoter of youth agenda in Nigeria and black continent had mentored a number of youths in and out of office, through his non-violent advocacy .
