As part of efforts to improve partnership and engagements, the North East Development Commission NEDC) has paid a courtesy visit to the Shehu of Borno, Alhaji Dr Abubakar Ibn Umar Garbai Al Amin El-Kanemi, by the Governing Board and Management of the North East Development Commission

“In a significant and momentous event that unfolds as we speak, the members of the Governing Board and the Management team of the North East Development Commission (NEDC) are engaged in a courtesy visit to the Shehu of Borno”. Said the NEDC

This visit bears profound cultural and historical significance as it bridges the gap between tradition and contemporary development. The Shehu of Borno, a highly revered traditional leader, embodies the rich heritage and deep-rooted values of the North-Eastern region of Nigeria. It is within the regal confines of his palace that this meaningful engagement is taking place.
