Speaking in his assessment of Umeh’s scorecard, a Chieftain of Labour Party and the National Coordinators of Association of Concerned Non Indigenes (ACNI) Hon Ibuchim Kontact Ezekwelu pointed out that Senator Umeh is very sensitive to the plight of his immediate constituents of Anambra Central, plight of Ndigbo and Nigerians at large hence his vibrant representation with conversant participation in the affairs of the Senate both on the floor and in oversight.

Hon Ezekwelu who has served in various capacities in Anambra State as ex Commissioner Member 5 Local Government Service Commission, ex Commissioner 1 Post Primary School Service Commission and ex Chairman Government Land Recovery added that Umeh is doing well because he went back to the Senate well prepared to continue where he stopped from his first sojourn that lasted for Seventeen months is 8th Senate.

He continued “ACNI as a group was sure that Ohamadike is going to do well in the Senate and that was why we voted for him. I assured him prior to the election that the structure of ACNI in the Seven Local Governments Area in Anambra State is for him and that was exactly what we did at the polling booths. As the leader of ACNI and on behalf of ACNI I want to assure him that we are happy with his performance most particularly with his quick intervention to protect the property of Ndigbo from being demolished and let him keep it up”

Also speaking a Chieftain of Labour Party who was also a member of the Labour Party Presidential Campaign Council in 2023 Presidential election, Prince Austin Onyekaba observed that the former National Chairman of All Progressive Grand Alliance (APGA) who is the Chairman Senate Committee on Diaspora Nigerians has become a Pride of Anambra State, Pride of Southeast and Pride of Legislation in Nigeria at large with his yeoman performance in the Senate
