Rivers Crisis: PDP To Pay Reconcilation, Mediation Visit On Wike

The governors on the platform of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) will today, Wednesday paid a reconciliation and mediation visit on the former Rivers state governor and Minister of Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Nyesom Wike.

The governors, on the platform of PDP Governors’ Forum, will be led by its Chairman of Bauchi State governor, Bala Mohammed.

Recall that the Rivers state governor, Siminalayi Fubara and his predecessor, Wike have been having a running battle.

The message by the Forum Chairman, Mohammed to the other governors reads, “following the decision reached at the PDP Governors Forum meeting on Tuesday, 31st October, to visit the FCT Minister, for reconciliation and mediation purposes, the Chairman of the Forum H.E Governor Bala Mohammed, CON, hereby requests member Governors to converge at his residence, No 1 Miriam Aloma Muktar Street, Asokoro, opposite Rivers State Governors Lodge at 10.45 am to accompany him for the visit.”
