By Ekuson Nw’Ogbunka, Abuja

The Ikukuoma Media Organization has described the imposition of a N50 million advert rate on all out – of – home advertising activities, during the campaign and election periods by Anambra State Government to each governorship candidate in the state as an example of desperation by the state Governor Chukwuma Soludo. It therefore accused the government of Soludo of attempting to malign other candidates’ campaigns, by not providing a level playing ground for them to campaign freely and allowing Anambra people (Ndi Anambra) to make their choice without harassment and intimidation.

This was contained in a press e please from Chudy Brass Nwankwo, the Chief Executive Executive Officer (CEO), Brass Media Consult, Awka over the weekend and made available to media houses.

Informing that Ikukuoma is an idea whose time has come, and no amount of campaign of calumny and intimidation can stop it, the media team therefore stated categorically that the All Progressives Congress (APC) governorship candidate, Prince Nicholas Ukachukwu’s mission and visions are centered on seeing a prosperous, self-sustaining Anambra where governance is the only tool to serve the people.

Condemning in its entirety, the recent publications by some fifth columnists aimed at launching a vitriolic attack on the APC gubernatorial candidate in the forthcoming Anambra State gubernatorial election, the organization reiteratedly attributed the media attack to panic and desperation in the camp of incumbent governor, whose time, it believes is fast ticking to be voted out by Anambra people Ndi Anambra come November 8th, 2025.

The organization expressed disappointment that instead of reeling out achievements in terms of infrastructural and human capital development delivered to Ndi Anambra, the current government, according to the media team has descended into launching spiral attacks on perceived political opponents, including unwarranted attacks on past Anambra State Governors with landmark achievements.

Highlighting what it describes as Ukachukwu’s impressive academic, business, and political profiles, which according to them pose a great threat to the number one seat in the in the race to governorship in the state, they adds that Ukachukwu’s achievements in both public and private lives make him a formidable candidate.
