The Maritime Reporters Association of Nigeria (MARAN) has commiserated with the Managing Director of the Nigerian Ports Authority (NPA), Muhammad Bello-Koko over the death of his father, Alh. Muhammad Koko.
MARAN in a statement signed by it’s President, Godfrey Bivbere, expressed the condolence of the association to the NPA helmsman and the entire koko family.
Bivbere said though the death of a loved one is painful, no matter the age at the time of death, the NPA boss and the family should take solace in the fact that it’s the Almighty’s wish to take the late Alh. Muhammad Koko home at this time.
“It’s our prayers that Allah will have mercy on his soul and forgive him his shortcomings as well as grant him entrance to everlasting rest.”
Alh. Koko died on Friday 21st, 2023 after a protracted illness.
The NPA MD had earlier announced the death of his father on his official Twitter handle.
His massage read in part, “This morning, my dear father, Alh. Muhammad Koko passed away after a protracted illness.
“May Allah have mercy on his soul and forgive him all his shortcomings,” he wrote.
