Renowned Nigerian human rights lawyer and Lead Counsel to the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), Sir Ifeanyi Ejiofor, has concluded arrangements to officially unveil the regional headquarters of his law firm, I. C. Ejiofor & Co. (Ugochinyere Chambers), in Asaba, Delta State.

The expansion of the Chambers into Delta State marks another significant milestone in the firm’s continued growth and reflects its increasing presence within Nigeria’s legal landscape.

Ejiofor attributed the establishment of the regional office to divine grace, as well as the confidence, trust, and enduring support reposed in the Chambers by its clients and the public.

He made this known in his Monday Musings titled “An Enduring Legacy of Grace, Service and Professional Stewardship: The Official Unveiling of the Regional Headquarters of I. C. Ejiofor & Co. (Ugochinyere Chambers), Asaba, Delta State.”

According to Ejiofor, when divine grace accompanies a person’s life and calling, it often appears as though such an individual has been specially favoured with uncommon blessings and generational grace.

Commenting on the development, Ejiofor who holds chieftaincy title of Dunu-Ezeugosinachi stated that one enduring truth should never be forgotten: a person who faithfully walks in the path of his divine mandate and heavenly calling is never in competition with others.

According to him, every individual’s journey is uniquely ordered by God, and true success is measured not by comparison with others but by the fulfilment of divine purpose.

He further stated that the Chambers’ entrance into the Big Heart State has been heralded by remarkable professional accomplishments, landmark legal victories, outstanding milestones, and an unwavering commitment to the diligent discharge of its professional responsibilities with honesty, integrity, sincerity, and the fear of God.

Ejiofor explained that, following the overwhelming confidence reposed in the Chambers, the remarkable successes recorded over the years, and the growing demand for its legal services, it pleased Almighty God to enlarge the coast of the firm and expand its professional frontiers across the South-South, South-East, and, by extension, the South-West geopolitical zones of Nigeria.

The statement reads:”It is with profound gratitude to Almighty God that we officially unveil this magnificent edifice, which shall henceforth serve as the Regional Headquarters of the esteemed Chambers of I. C. Ejiofor & Co. (Ugochinyere Chambers), strategically located in the heart of Asaba, Delta State.

We have never been given to speaking where God has not first spoken. We firmly acknowledge that promotion comes neither from the east nor from the west, but from the Lord alone. Therefore, it can only be Him—ever faithful to His promises and steadfast in the fulfilment of His Word—who has graciously chosen this moment to reward years of sacrifice, unwavering commitment, and selfless service to humanity.

This journey has not been without immense cost. It has been characterised by immeasurable sacrifices, incalculable losses, life-threatening encounters, and countless occasions when death came perilously close, all in the faithful discharge of our professional duties, the defence of fundamental human rights, the pursuit of justice, and our unwavering commitment to the rule of law. Yet, through every season, every trial, and every challenge, God remained faithful. Indeed, it can only be God.

Today, I pay glowing tribute to our indefatigable team of exceptionally erudite legal practitioners within the Chambers and our highly dedicated administrative and support staff, whose professionalism, diligence, loyalty, competence, and unwavering commitment have transformed this vision into reality. Your invaluable contributions to the continued growth, excellence, and reputation of our Chambers shall forever remain appreciated. I remain profoundly grateful to each and every one of you.

I equally extend my heartfelt appreciation to my beloved family, whose steadfast prayers, extraordinary sacrifices, remarkable endurance, patience, and unwavering encouragement have remained an unshakable pillar throughout this demanding journey.
My sincere gratitude also goes to my formidable Ezigbo Umuchineke, whose unfailing love, steadfast support, prayers, and abiding faith have continued to inspire strength, courage, and resilience through every season.
To our ever-expanding clientele, I express my profound appreciation for the immense confidence, trust, and faith you have consistently reposed in our professional competence, integrity, and capacity. Your continued patronage and support have contributed immeasurably to this significant milestone, and we remain deeply indebted to you.
As we inaugurate this Regional Headquarters, we reaffirm our unwavering commitment to the highest standards of legal practice, professional ethics, the protection of fundamental human rights, the defence of the rule of law, and the diligent pursuit of justice without fear or favour. We shall continue to render quality legal services with integrity, excellence, courage, and unwavering fidelity to the Constitution and the noble ideals of the legal profession.
Above all, and most importantly, we return all glory, honour, adoration, and thanksgiving to Almighty God—the Alpha and the Omega, the Great I AM, the Author and Finisher of our faith, the Mighty Man of War, the Beginning and the End—for yet another remarkable milestone. Truly, it can only be God.
To Him alone be all the glory for His endless mercies, unmerited favour, divine protection, unfailing grace, preservation of life, abundant blessings upon my family and our Chambers, and for continually prospering the works of our hands beyond human comprehension.
With hearts overflowing with gratitude, we humbly say: Thank You, Lord.
Thank you all for being part of this remarkable journey.
May Almighty God richly bless you all.”
