He attributed the decline in major crimes in the commercial city to the Commissioner’s proactive policing and strategic deployment of resources.

Speaking during a courtesy visit to the Commissioner of Police at the Command Headquarters in Lagos, Odita said: “Under your watch, we have seen a tangible decline in major crimes through proactive policing and strategic deployment of resources. Your emphasis on community partnership and commitment to people-centric policing have strengthened the relationship between the Police and the public. This approach has made policing in Lagos more inclusive, participatory, and impactful.

We particularly commend your open-door policy and your constant engagement with critical stakeholders, media practitioners, community leaders, and civil society organisations. Your recognition of the media as a strategic partner in security management speaks volumes about your understanding of modern policing dynamics, where information, trust, and transparency play pivotal roles.”

He added” “At RazorNews Group, we believe in celebrating excellence and honouring those who quietly oil the wheels of national progress. CP Olohundare Jimo Moshood, you represent one of those silent heroes whose dedication to duty, professionalism, and integrity continue to inspire confidence in the Force.

On behalf of my management and the entire RazorNews family, I wish to commend you for your visionary leadership, your commitment to safeguarding lives and property, and your enduring efforts to make Lagos a safer and more secure state.

As partners in nation-building, we assure you of our continued collaboration in promoting accurate reportage, security awareness, and public trust in law enforcement. Together, we can sustain the gains of peace and stability in Lagos and beyond.”

Odita noted that CP Moshood has brought a unique blend of discipline, intelligence-led strategy, and compassion to policing.

He explained that this combination has not only reduced crime rates but also restored public confidence in the Nigeria Police Force within the state.

He emphasised that since CP Moshood’s assumption of office, Lagos has witnessed a refreshing transformation in the security landscape.
