The National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) has fixed Thursday, July 9, 2026, for the passing-out of members of the 2025 Batch ‘B’ Stream One, the scheme’s management announced on Friday.
Caroline W. Embu, Director of Information and Public Relations for the NYSC, who made the announcement in a statement on Thursday, noted that activities leading up to the ceremony began on Tuesday, June 23 and include Job Advisory and Counselling (JAC) sessions organised by the NYSC and partner agencies, registration and clearance of Corps members by Local Government Inspectors (LGIs), and final clearance signing by Zonal Inspectors, the NYSC said.
In line with a decision to keep the occasion low-key, Certificates of National Service will be distributed only to deserving Corps members across all Local Government Areas, the statement added.
Director-General Brigadier-General Olakunle Nafiu wished the Corps members a successful winding-up and passing-out exercise, urging them to uphold the core values of the Scheme and serve as good ambassadors in their post-service lives.
