that marred the MHR primary process in Ward 10, Ogijo and Ward 14, Agbowa, in Sagamu Local Government. The group described the incidents as a threat to democracy and called for calm as political activities toward 2027 intensify.

According to party faithful, Elegbeji has consistently championed peace, unity, and issue-based politics. They stressed that elections should be conducted without intimidation or unrest and warned against any attempt to undermine the process through violence.

Speaking through her loyalists, Elegbeji said political ambition must not come at the cost of human lives, safety, or the harmony Remo Federal Constituency is known for. She urged all aspirants and stakeholders to prioritize dialogue over confrontation.

The group highlighted Remo’s reputation for political maturity and peaceful coexistence, urging members to embrace tolerance and respect for democratic values. They said such conduct would strengthen the party and the constituency ahead of the polls.

Elegbeji called on security agencies and party leaders to ensure proper monitoring and fairness in subsequent exercises. She said proactive measures were needed to prevent a repeat of the incidents in Ward 10, Ward 14, and other parts of Sagamu.

Despite the disruption, her supporters reaffirmed confidence in her leadership. They described her as a symbol of responsible representation and progressive politics focused on the growth and development of Remo Federal Constituency.
